Picking your own beautiful, unique bouquet is simple and fun when you follow this guide!
Once you pull onto the farm, follow the signs to the flower fields - you will park there! Please no parking in the front lawn area unless you see signage for overflow parking
Check in at the tables near the back tan arena/barn. Here, you will choose and pay for your you-pick flower option, and receive pruners and a temporary container for your cut flowers
Get to Picking!
Head out into the fields and fill your cup! Pay attention to signage in the field that will tell you if certain flowers are not ready to be harvested, or if specific flowers are not included in the you-pick. If you have any questions or need assistance, look for someone in a Farmstead shirt
When you've filled your cup, head back to where you checked in, turn in your pruners, and we'll help get your new bouquet wrapped to take home. Occasionally, we will have vases and other floral vessels available for purchase if your bouquet is a gift- for someone else or yourself!
QUESTIONS + ANSWERS
What Forms of Payment Are Accepted?
We accept cash, credit card, and Venmo on-site
Can I Bring My Children or Pet(s)?
Children are always welcome on the farm! Children must always be accompanied by an adult, and should not be left unattended anywhere on the farm.
We have many different types of animals on the farm, including chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, goats, and lambs - for their safety, and the safety of our other visitors, no dogs are allowed on property. Certified service dogs are the only exception.
Is Off-Farm Food Allowed?
Feel free to pack a picnic or bring snacks to enjoy while you are out in the fields. We have benches and picnic tables located around the farm for your convenience, or you may want to bring a blanket to sit out in our wildflower pature. Please clean up after yourself by disposing of ALL trash in the provided bins.
For your safety and theirs, please DO NOT feed anything to our animals!
What Should I Wear/Bring?
You are coming to a real, working farm with barnyards and open fields- mud, uneven ground, and grasses of various heights aren't unusual. Comfortable shoes (that you don't mind getting a little dirty), a hat, bugspray, and sunscreen are always recommended.
Although pruners are provided for your use in the field, feel free to bring your own pruners/scissors or a pair of gardening gloves. Unless you plan to purchase a vase on-site, we recommend bringing a water-tight container to transport your flowers home.
Personal Use Photography is not restricted, and we encourage you to share your You-Pick photos online with the hashtag #frostfarmstead
